UV + Moisture Dual Cure
One-component acrylics that set in 10 to 15 seconds under 365 nm UV light, then keep curing with moisture from the air wherever the light did not reach. That second cure matters under components, connectors and cable bundles, where shadows cannot be avoided. Both grades are rated V-0.
Choosing a grade
- Parts must be handled within seconds, but some of the bond line is shaded.
- Clear, low-viscosity tacking of wires and small parts: ZLA-7102 (1000 mPa·s).
- A thicker bead for encapsulating pins on flexible circuits: ZLA-7104 (20,000 mPa·s).
- If light reaches every part of the joint, the UV-only grade ZLA-7202 is enough.
UV Cure
A clear, one-component acrylic that cures in 10 seconds under 365 nm UV light into a soft, stretchy layer (Shore A 20, 80 % elongation). Use it to coat, seal or bond small, delicate electronic parts that have to stay dry and electrically isolated. It cures by light only, so the whole bond line must be exposed to the lamp.
Choosing a grade
- Clear joints that must stay flexible on parts that bend or move.
- A thin, protective layer over small, delicate components.
- Shaded areas, or a flame rating needed? Use a UV + moisture dual-cure grade.
