Non-Curing Reworkable Sealant ZLA-8202
ZLA-8202 is a one-component sealant paste that never cures. It stays soft in the joint, so an enclosure can be opened for service and closed again.
It is rated V-0 and insulates electrically (10¹⁴ Ω·cm or more), which suits battery packs; the paste also keeps out water and humidity and tolerates heat and corrosive conditions.
Because nothing cures, service work never means cutting through a hardened bead: the old sealant comes away and a fresh bead goes on.
